Disney raises prices on all 5 dining plans.
Disney has release the prices for the 5 Disney Dining plans for 2011. Just like the ticket prices at the beginning of the month, they are going up. Depending on the plan, it is anywhere form 4 to 10 dollars per day for an adult. Child prices are the same or just up slightly. When the plan first started, it was a bargin to use the dining plan, with these new level of prices, it is starting to be very questionable as to if the plans are worth it anymore. The quick service plan is almost the price on the standard dining plan just a few years ago. It almost seems as if the only reason to do the plan is out of convenience.

The Restaurant Database has been updated for 2011.

Disney removes various locations from the plan for 2011.
Updating the restaurant DB, the following have been added/removed from the plan: Seashore Sweets(QS), Crockett's Tavern(QS), Cap'n Jack's Restaurant(TS), Big River Grille & Brewing Works(TS), Garden Grill Restaurant(TS), Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe(QS), Le Cellier Steakhouse(becomes signature on 3/1), Kouzzina by Cat Cora(Added), Sommerfest(Added) .

Disney raises prices on all theme park admission tickets.
Disney announces rate hikes for all theme park admission tickets. For those keeping count, a single day ticket rose $3.00 to $82.00 per day plas tax. With tax $87.33. While all theme park tickets rose, the child ticket rose more than adults. Even annual passes got hiked as well.

New Via Napoli restaurant in Italy Pavilion.
The casual pizzeria will feature wood-burning ovens – and will import water from a source that most resembles the water in Naples, Italy, home of some of the world’s best pizza dough. The menu also will feature pastas, salads, sandwiches and Italian wines. Check out the restaurant database for complete menu listing and prices

We added 9 new videos and over 130 images.
We added an all new video from Summer Nightastic including the fireworks and main street electrical parade. We also added new videos for animal kingdom villas (Kidani Village), Bay Lake Tower, Contemporary Resort, Downtown Disney Pleasure Island and West Side. Over 130 new images added for the same locations previously mentioned.

Disney announces new Art Of Animation Resort.
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will be one-of-a-kind, featuring family suites designed around four themes: The Lion King, Cars, Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid.

Scheduled to open bt the end of 2012, this new value resort sits adjacent to the pop century resort across hourglass lake. This resort will have the same pricing structure as other value resorts in this category. Read the full press release here and Video as well.

Playing catchup is always hard to do but we managed to update all the event pages for the fall/winter 2010. Check back as we will update the pages as new information becomes available.

Night of Joy Information now Available.
Past Christian music “Artists of the Year” Third Day, mercyme and Chris Tomlin and 2010 “Artist of the Year” nominees Casting Crowns and Francesca Battistelli head a star-powered 15-act lineup set for Disney’s Night of Joy 2010 Sept. 10-11 when the long-running Christian music event makes its return to Magic Kingdom.

Added nearly 120 images to the Epcot Theme park Section and the Internation Flower and Garden Festival.
We got all of the new images for the Epcot Theme park uploaded today including the Internation Flower and Garden Festival. Now that we have completed adding all of the images and videos. We are going to get back to updating content for the site like current discounts, International Food and Wine Festival, Micky's Not-So-Scary Halloween party and Christmas in Disney as well as other sections of the site. We still have a couple of 3D videos to do but we will get to sometime in may. Enjot the rest of your weekend.

Added nearly 70 images to the Disney Hollywood Studios Section.
We got all of the new images for the Disney Hollywood Studios Theme park uploaded today. Next we will be moving on to Epcot and the Flower and Garden Festival. We should have them ready by end of the weekend.

Added nearly 70 images to the Animal Kingdom Section.
We got all of the new images for the Magic Kingdom Theme park uploaded today. Next we will be moving on to the Disney Hollywood Studios and finally on to Epcot and the Flower and Garden Festival. We will be trying to get the rest of them up by this weekend.

Added 95 images to the Animal Kingdom Section.
Now that all of the new videos have been added, we got all of the new images for the Animal Kingdom Theme park uploaded today. It amazing how long it takes just to get the images added to the database as well as the site. We will be trying to get the rest of them up in the next week or so.

Added International Flower and Garder Festival Video.
Finally got together a 10 minute video that highlights the International Flower and Garden Festival. If you are unable to make this year, check out the video and it pretty much catches you up for this year. I still have to write a review of my experience of the festival. Some quick noteables, the wonders of life pavilion is no longer what it once was and is now plays host to "The Garden Center" for the festival and the "Fairies" section (was new for 2009) where the newest additions that I noticed. I imagine that due to the economy, sponsorship was down and it appeared so as there was nothing to really WOW me as I remember in previous years event. Everything else was pretty much the same.

So far we have added videos for Epcot are Mission:Space Pavilion, Universe of Energy Pavilion, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Innoventions East, Innoventions West, The Living Seas Pavilion, Tronorail, The Imagination Pavilion and The Land Pavilion. That should complete Future World.

Added 2 new 3D Videos (Red/Cyan Glasses Required).
This my first attempt at 3D at Disney World. The 2 new videos are Beach Club Villas and Illuninations: Reflections of Earth. These videos will need the old style red/cyan glasses. With that being said, there is a cross-eyed view you can attempt but it just gives me a headache. Either way, grab a pair of glasses and enjoy.

New Custom Itenieries Feature Available
So you have seen the Itinerary icon showing up around the site? That is our Itinerary feature. We have just release version .99 of our new itenieries feature. Once you have created your free account, you can then make your way around the site and add Resorts and Dining locations to your Itinerary. Create as many Itineraries as you want.

Once added, goto the Itinerary detail page and we will give you all the information you need to know about your resort. we will give the current theme park hours for your stay including extra magic hours. If your stay happens to coninside with any events going, we will let you know that too. Then print them off and read all about your trip before you get there. You can also print off menus for any dining location.

The Hollywood Studios Section of the site has been completely refreshed

For whatever reason, the windows media server is not working correctly and instead of spending some time figuring out what its issues are. I am moving them all to YouTube. Some of the videos are *really* old and will see if I have some updated videos to encode in their place. Either way, it will take a fews days to get them uploaded. I will try to sneak a few new ones as well.

Disney Announces name of new Hawaiian Resort
The highly anticipated Disney destination resort currently under construction on the Hawaiian island of O‘ahu now has an official name and a dynamic new Web site offering an inside look at the project.

Disney removes HUGE selection of restaurants from Disney Dining Plan
I just entered the latest updates for the Disney Dining Plan for checkins starting 2010. I was shocked at the level of restaurant removals from the plan. I know the ecomony has hit disney hard, but whoa...disney has removed just about ALL the Downtown Disney and MOST world showcase restaurants from the Disney Dining Plan. Now alot more dining location require 2 table service credits than in past years. With all the new removals and restrictions, I am not sure the plan is worth it anymore. I am going to have to review the plan again and do the math. It was already hard enough the get i dining reservation before, I bet it becomes impossible unless you are making them exactly 60 days out.
